The Weekend We All Desperately Needed

What do

Thor 2
chick flicks
Jonas Brothers
Mango / Passion Fruit Vodka
and 1 1/12 years of best friend deprivation

add up to?

22 hours of just what the doctor ordered.

I'm the doctor in this equation if you haven't guessed haha.

Not to mention the 10 hours of drive time donated by my brother and a brief appearance by a penguin. There was also a couple suspenseful minutes of trying to get people to say the right phrase. Fashion Victim? That Ding you Do? More like Clothes Murder and Elevator? Do you know how hard it is to get someone to say 'ding'? I suck at charades by the way but I can make someone laugh in under 30 seconds.

How do you prepare for a space party?

I also woke up to the sound of a submarine about to be hit by a missile. I swear some alarm tones need to come with warning labels. Warning: You will jump out of bed in panic mode whilst your best friend laughs at you! Oh early morning antics. Gotta love it.

#Skytypers

Headed to the mall before I had to leave the city. Really disappointed that Old Navy doesn't carry their plus line in stores. Wanted to try somethings on but alas not my size. Old Navy should fix this.

We browsed through some more stores and I was beginning to think that I wouldn't buy anything that day until we stepped into Rainbow. I've only been in Rainbow once before and I love their clothes. Their stylish, fashionable, and I swear they aren't paying me to say all this. I just like their merchandise. I ended up buying the Plus-Size Snap Collar Moto Jacket. I loves it so much. I've been looking for a "leather" jacket for at least two years and now I've got one! Can't wait to style it and such.

Moves like Jagger, brunch and linner, crying over a radio story about a couple who adopted triplets and then found out they were expecting twins, When You Look Me In The Eyes, and cool cars.

And a discussion on why the three of us became friends in the first place.

I can honestly  say that I probably wouldn't be friends with these lovely women if it wasn't for the Jonas Brothers. That was the one thing we had in common when we met. We never got to see them in concert together but that doesn't even matter. Im thankful for that moment  four years ago in a ten passenger van heading towards New Mexico because that is when two strangers started to talk about a band and I could, for once in my life, join in on a conversation. That's when I met my best friends.

So here's to Jonas! Here's to the technology that keeps us together though we are miles apart! Here's to girl's weekends and chick flicks and toaster waffles! Here's to the much needed conversations about real life that needed to happen!

I just hope it doesn't take another 1 1/12 years before we can do this again,
-Awel
