Let me tell you a story. Once Upon a Time ThatOneCoupleTv on youtube tagged their fans in a disney pin tag. Which is awesome. I collect pins, I have a big collection. I'd like to show them off to you guys. However, there isn't a YouTube channel for Awels Hollow (yet, maybe one day) but I still wanted to do this tag so i thought I would bring it over here to the blog.
As I went through my collection I noticed that I only had a small amount of Disney pins in comparison to the rest of my collection. So this will be short and sweet. I plan to keep collecting so there may be an updated version in the future.
Questions:
1. What is your oldest pin?
My oldest pin is actually the Happy Birthday one in the lower left hand corner. I went to Disney World for the first time in January 2012 to celebrate a friend of the famliy's birthday, her niece's birthday, and my birthday. It was a great trip!
2. What is your newest pin?
My newest pin/pins are all of the black and white ones on the top row and the Nightmare Before Christmas one. They were Christmas gifts from my parents.
3. A pin with your favorite character.
Tough question! My favs are the Lion King one, the Pirates of the Caribbean (the wheel opens), and the Nightmare Before Christmas one.
4. A pin with a year or date on it.
The Nightmare before Christmas pin has the year 2013 on it celebrating the twentieth year of the movie. "Twenty TWISTED Years"
5. A pin that has a funny story.
The Halloween mickey and Minnie I bought while on a weekend trip to LA with my best friends last September. I talked them into going to downtown disney and was very happy to get a disney churro and Halloween pins! (Can downtown disney start offering mickey waffles and dole whips, please?!)
6. The pin with the most sentimental value.
Surfs Up breakfast with mickey was a pin from one of the character breakfasts from Disneyland 2012. It was the first big family vacation we had had in a very long time. It was my youngest brothers first trip to Disney. We "surfed" with Stitch and Dasiy duck flirted with my other brother (just don't tell Donald)
7. The pin that took you the longest to find/get.
I don't trade pins or track them down. I just buy the ones I like when I happen to be in Disney.
